FAQ

  • Are your cookies really Gluten Free and Vegan?

Yes! However, we include disclaimers because we use a shared kitchen space. We use all different equipment for our allergy friendly cookies, we have a baker dedicated to baking the GF/V cookies, and we never put our GF/V Cookies into the oven with any others. We also package them first, and wipe down all surfaces before and after. We take your health and wellbeing VERY seriously.

  • What is BIPOC and LGBTQ+?

BIPOC: Black, Indigenous, People of Color. It is a term to include people of non-white races that typically face systemic injustices.

LGBTQ+: Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer/questioning, asexual, aromantic, and more! This is a term to encompass people with various sexual orientations and identities.

  • Why do you give to BIPOC & LGBTQ+ and not others?

We actually do give to all sorts of people. We have cookie boxes that will fundraise for different causes, groups, schools, and more. However, in our mission, we donate 5% of our profits to these groups because these intersections were something the founder of Via’s Cookies was a part of, and she realized the impact different difficulties as a part of these identities had on her getting a fair education. She wants better for others.

  • Do you offer pickup/shipping?

Yes and yes! You can do local Ithaca pickup at the Canopy Hilton Downtown. We ship nationwide in the U.S. Shipping typically takes 3-4 days, and we bake fresh every week.

  • How do I order (a lot) of cookies?

Go to our catering order form and fill it out. Someone from our team will reach out to you to get information on delivery address, cookie quantity, delivery time, and you’ll receive an invoice that can be paid online or otherwise. We love catering orders!

  • What do cookies look like when I get them?

All of our cookies are individually wrapped. This makes catering, client gifting, and pickup in store easy. They all have ingredient labels and the cookie flavor. This is what makes us perfect for large events.
